Glasgow Adventures

Wednesday we got to go check out another part of Glasgow with Jeff. Unfortunately most of the shops he tried to show us were closed because Jan 2 is apparently a public holiday in Scotland. Either way, it was cool walking through some old streets. Here's an old park we walked through with a river running through it.

There was also a very domesticated, rather fat squirrel who probably would have jumped on us if we let him.

Here is a cathedral on the corner of some city streets. Like alot of church buildings in Scotland, it's been long devoid of a congregation. This one is now a museum for a bunch of universalist art (basically all kinds of different religions). The founders of it would probably be pretty sad.

That night we were invited by some ladies from church to eat at their apartment. They fixed some great Asian food for us and we had a great time hanging out with some brothers and sisters from church.

That was about it. We're just about to head out to Edinburgh (woohoo!) so I better wrap this up. I'll post plenty of pictures when I get back. Talk to y'all then!
